The life of an African as seen in diaspora by an African and a black American are two parallel lines that are never to meet. The former does not believe in the freedom of the other and the latter wants to enjoy in his hometown alone. Hence, no spirit of brotherhood amongst them, knowing fully well that both their origin can be traced to mother Africa still no love found, one mocks like a superior.
The fact is that all lives matter is an essential theme which should be chanted on every occasion, who is to blame for Africa colonization? In colonization, you are not given the right to think.
I'm Eji, the lifestyle as projected even through the media is capable of prpagating systemic hegemony. If this platform can in its full prowess be used to reproject what the blacks are capable of rather making life an unhealthy competitive race, it'll go a long way. Thank you.

DeleteThere's a disconnect between the reality of Africans living in Africa and the descendants of the Africans that were taken as slaves to America.
ReplyDeleteWhile the latter acknowledges their African roots, they feel real connection to it. In addition, the perception of Africa created by the Western media which paints Africa as a war torn, poverty-stricken, corruption-laden entity, makes even more complicated.
A lot is hidden in this silence, i can feel it

That was why Marthin Luther said in his Famous speech that Negro slaves will remain slaves forever until they come to the table of brotherhood
